About Lucinda Leveille | Artist
Lucinda Levielle is an extraordinary woman. Having completed a Diploma of Art from the National Art School of Sydney, she moved to the Gold Coast. What could have been a promising early career in the arts by an amazing conceptualist and artist was cut short by the discouraging behaviour of a local gallery. Devastated, this amazing artist put away her brushes for nearly a decade. Fortunately for all of us, Lucinda’s family have stood behind her and encouraged her to return in the art scene. Lucinda’s classical training has enabled her to diversify between sculpture and painting – and there will no doubt be many other avenues for expression in the future.
