About Marie-France Rose | Sculptor
Award winning Marie-France Rose’s explorations into the energy within the body and nature result in her fluid sculptural creations. Experimenting with a variety of mediums, but mostly focussing on oil, acrylic and clay, her work is a celebration of form. Her clay sculptures provide the canvas upon which she adds colour and movement guided by her passionate creativity.
Marie-France is based in Uki, Northern New South Wales, where she exhibits her work and runs inspiring workshops from her secluded retreat. French-Canadian, she has travelled widely and discovered inspiration throughout her life’s journey. After completing her Advanced Diploma in Ceramics and Visual Arts in 1999, she established herself as a successful ceramicist and her work is regularly exhibited. She currently has work on display at the Tweed River Gallery in Murwillumbah and is a frequent exhibitor at the annual Swell Exhibition on the Gold Coast.
