About Nanette Clifton | Artist

Nanette Clifton’s artistic journey commenced 35 years ago when she began her exploration of inner creativity. An intensely focussed talent, Nanette immerses herself within each work in what she describes as a ‘passionate new love affair’. Her emotional connection with her subject matter brings a warmth and sensuality to her art, regardless of medium and subject matter.

Ever open to new ideas and mediums, her techniques vary, but the sense of connection always remains. As you explore her gallery you will discover a highly sensitive and emotive beauty throughout her work.

She has exhibited widely and enjoys sharing her knowledge of technique and methods of exploring self expression – a combination of personal discovery and understudying many inspirational artists and teachers along her road of discovery. Her workshops are enjoyable opportunities to explore student’s personal creativity. Read some of Nanette’s blogs and inspirational stories on the blog pages.

Nanette enjoys portraiture and is available for commissions. Her works are available as Giclee reproductions (which are hard to discern from the originals!). Giclee reproductions can be made on paper or canvas.
