Twisting concepts into form

I've been exploring the third dimension recently, and discovered I really enjoy twisting and torturing clay to do my bidding! Like any powerful habit, it started with a little mould shaping for concrete here, a spot of timber sculpting there, and before I knew it, I had a full blown sculpting addiction!

Ceramics have become my new friend, but I've also discovered that working with pewter can be fun. I don't have the equipment (yet) to work with high temperature metals, so I'm exploring the dark recesses of op shops, scavenging for (not too) old pewter tankards to melt and transform.
