Photophobia, or light sensitivity is surprisingly powerful. As I sit behind my darkened sunglasses peering at the monitor, I wince. Sharp needles sear my eyes constantly, and bright lights become excruciating. This odd condition can be part of the migraine experience, neuropathic or a result of dry eyes. It seems so innocuous in print and theory, yet has unforgiving claws that sink through to the back of the head...
