Artist and author Nanette Clifton’s life as a teacher began at St George TAFE NSW where she undertook her BMI Teacher Training before taking her first class there.
Nanette definitely doesn’t hold back. She is very passionate about her teaching and really loves to impart any and all her knowledge to students.. Her life as an artist began 40 years ago, and in that time her own work has evolved in many directions. During this journey she has been influenced by many fine teachers along the way. This knowledge has been blended with Nanette’s own natural ability to transform information into her individual works of art, which results in her own unique brand of artistic creativity. Nanette immerses herself totally in each new project, be it teaching, or her own art. The subjects she paints are varied and diverse as are the mediums and colour combinations. Monoprinting brings a special magical dimension to art work and no experience is necessary to be a student in her current course.
