This is part twelve of a series where I attempt to articulate the invisible torments that pursue humanity - both physical and emotional.
Some people experience an emptiness within. A lack of self, and a driving need to fill that void. Unsure of how, or why there is no sense of self, they are driven to drastic, and often harmful behaviour to reassure themselves of their existence. They say that psychopaths and some narcissists experience this vacuum. Without external stimulus, they fear the void. A terrifying space.
