Write or Flight

A commission created for Dr Jeff Adams’ consultation room. I created three concept drafts from which he chose the final configuration. As time spent with a psychiatrist is time spent rewriting your personal story, it felt right to pursue the theme of a quill in a myriad of exotic colours. Life should be inspirational and colourful. In these rooms you have an opportunity to write the most colourful story of all – your own. And of course – you can always see yourself reflected as you move forward with each chapter.

Impact resistant glass was ordered, cut to size with polished edges. Coloured acrylic was airbrushed on, followed by a series of layers of different coloured metallic enamels.
