2020 Vision

The year was drawing to a close, and as I optimistically unfurled from the foetal position, I couldn't but help wonder what 2021 held in store for us. 

Catapulting me from a state of heightened awareness and hysteria, to catatonia at regular intervals, the year had been eventful to say the least. From bushfires, a global pandemic, Canberra bubble's being burst, through to the most entertaining reality TV show to date – the USA elections, I sensed 2021 must have felt like it has very big boots to fill. There was the hope that it would decide to gracefully claim its place like Joe Biden and become relatively dull, and lacklustre sensible. We could all have done with some well earned rest, and an opportunity to recover.

Alas, twas not to be, and the chaotic rollercoaster continues!
