A swirling sea of light, colour and materials. Glass segments have been ground back from both the front and back of the concrete so the mirror can enhance the shimmer of the dichroic glass.
Large chunks of dichroic glass, mother of pearl and glass bead were embedded in concrete and polished back so the light from the mirror would reflect through and enhance the colour. The concrete was laid over mirror that was sandblasted and painted with acrylic and enamel.
